About the ISQ UTT Prep Course

Our ISQ UTT Prep Course is meticulously crafted to prepare candidates for ultrasonic testing on various specimens and product forms, aligning with the thickness and corrosion scanning ISQ exam requirements. Participants engage with real or artificially induced discontinuities that mirror those found in the relevant industry sector, enhancing their ability to locate, interpret, and evaluate discontinuities and other warning signs. Through hands-on experience, candidates learn to document test results effectively in an environment that simulates actual testing conditions.

Equipment Information

Registered course participants are responsible for providing all equipment necessary for the course and ISQ examination.  

Transducers - It is recommended to bring your own, but ASNT has Evident D798-SM transducers that ISQ UTT paid course registrants can borrow daily for training as well as ISQ UTT exams immediately succeeding the training course. You’ll be required to check in and out the transducer daily. Proper identification required. Transducer rentals are complimentary for registered and paid class attendees only.
