ASNT recognizes that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to be an unprecedented challenge for our members, both personally and professionally. Our members’ and employees’ health and safety is a top priority, and our hearts and thoughts are with any member of the ASNT family affected by the virus.
We monitor information about COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), and ASNT will continue to follow their recommendations as the situation progresses. ASNT staff and the Board of Directors are taking all precautions to help stop the spread of this disease, including continuing the work-from-home policy for staff and the continued suspension of all Society-related travel until it is safe again.
We are committed to reducing the risk of adverse health impacts to the thousands of ASNT members, guests, and staff who participate in numerous ASNT committee meetings, conferences, and events by conducting business via videoconference. We also are taking steps to minimize any impacts on our operations as we strive to maintain all member services as best as possible.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the lives of millions of people around the world, we know that it has been challenging for Society members. We continue to review requests for membership dues waivers for members experiencing hardships due to unemployment or temporary disability. ASNT also is committed to maintaining the high level of customer support that members expect. For questions regarding ASNT operations, please email email@example.com.
Following federal, state, and local government guidelines, some Pearson VUE centers and ASNT Authorized Exam Centers (AECs) have resumed scheduling certification examinations. If you have an approved application and want to schedule an exam, visit the Pearson VUE site to find a test center’s status in your area. Appointment availability is limited due to social distancing precautions and varies by location.
